This book is a story written by Michel Abax, translated by Natalia López Acero, and edited by Volcán Ediciones. A tale from a journey in which the French writer and explorer Michel Abax set out to follow the tracks of Gabriel García Márquez, and revive the magic of his culture. Stories about the way of life in the colonial city of Mompox in Colombia, being imbued by the folklore, the dances, traditions, music, the celebrations in the graveyards an the fervor of their people, all of the magic of the daily life described by García Márquez in his texts.
The edition of this book was made by Volcán Ediciones, illustrated by Laura Alcina and Inti Guevara. My work in this project consisted in doing the text layout and arranging the elements of it as well as carefully being aware of the details an treatment of the text blocks and micro-typography.
